Cleaning your Engagement Ring
Keep the sparkle and shine
Simon West: Congratulations on your new jewellery purchase.
With your jewellery piece you will have received your liquid cleaner, so today, I’m gonna show you how to use it. Firstly, what we’re going to do, we’re going to ignore the instructions on the liquid container. You will have noticed you’ve got an instruction card here, and we’re gonna follow those ones.
The first thing we do, we’re going to rip off the plastic and we’re going to plonk the ring into the container, that’ll rest inside the little bucket. Leave it in there for a couple of minutes, lift up that little bucket, grab the ring out, and I want you to dab over the stones with the little brush that’s supplied. We also want to get in underneath those stones as well, if you can. Then, if you can repeat that a second time by putting that in again for another couple of minutes, and then again a second time with the brush. Then you can rinse it under hot water from a tap, and then use a hair dryer for 20 seconds.
I’d recommend that you do this at least at the start of every month, but you can do it as often as you like. And don’t forget, you can also come in and we’ll clean the stones for you on the spot as often as you like, and remember, to bring your jewellery piece in every two years at least for a full clean and polish, but more importantly, an inspection.
Have a great day and enjoy your jewellery piece.
